We are finding new ways to live
We are finding new ways to give
We are finding new ways to make sure all life is

Smaller houses made of earth and straw
Hemp flax banana for our fiber 
Roofs that grow food, and grey water gardens
Biodynamic, permaculture, organic
We’ll collect the rain for each of us to drink
And we’ll reduce, then we’ll reuse, then we’ll recycle everything
We’ll have human powered vehicles and bike paths for roads
And wind and solar and geothermal loads

We are finding new ways to live
We are finding new ways to give
We are finding new ways to make sure all life is

We’ll give of our time, and we’ll give of our skills
We’ll take into account how the other person feels
We’ll build with everyone’s needs in mind
And we’ll make sure that no one feels left behind
We’ll have council and community, everyone has a choice
And consensus decisions, everyone has a voice
We’ll help to find what makes everyone feel proud
And we’ll smile and we’ll smile and we’ll sing out loud

The trees have a forest that is safe
And the animals have habitat to live and to play
The water is clean and air is pure 
And there is plenty for all, the bears, fish, and birds
The soil is rich and the ocean is alive
And provides food for all who run, swim, and fly
People take only what they need
And everyone’s needs are met
