It is time to stop the violence
It is time to end our silence

Maybe fighting for ones life is the one way we can rationalize
To take a life means to save ones own
But the death and pain that come, never leave a man with more
It just keeps him standing all alone

Children hear action, louder than they hear words
The recreate just what they see
People are bred to fight, when they see it all their life
In their family, friends, in their country

When will we honestly, pass down what we want to see
When will the fathers tell the sons
Nothing is solved with using guns.

I lay my hope in this, that, when all man realizes
The gift of life is hope and bliss
